Breast Health Nurse Navigator

Oncology Nurse Navigator

Our oncology nurse navigators are responsible for guiding patients with lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, Gastrointestinal and other cancers of the chest through the health care system to ensure they get the care they need. The goal of this position is to guide patients through:

Cancer Genetics Counselor

Our cancer genectics counselor is responsible for leading the Cancer Genetics and Risk Assessment Program at Northside Gwinnett. The goal of this position is to provide cancer risk assessment and testing for hereditary cancer syndromes through a comprehensive genetic risk assessment, including:
- Genetic Counseling
- Detailed Personal and Family History Consultation
- Physical Examination
- Cancer Risk Assessment
- Risk Reduction Planning
- Cancer Risk and Prevention Education

Oncology Dietitian

Our oncology dietitian is responsible for providing nutrition education to cancer patients during treatment, survivorship and palliative care. The goal of this position is to optimize nutrition intake during treatment and improve quality of life through:

- Monthly Group Nutrition Classes
- Cancer Prevention and Health Workshops

Amy McEachin, RN, MSN, OCN
Amy is the Oncology Services Operation Manager at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. She manages the day to day operations at the Gwinnett Cancer Support Center. The Cancer Support Center houses the Oncology Nurse Navigators, Oncology Social Workers, Oncology Dieticians, Oncology Health Advocates, Genetics, Outpatient Palliative Care, and Wig Consultations. She also manages the Northside Gwinnett Infusion Center which is located just off the Lawrenceville campus at 575 Professional Drive.
