About Paint Gwinnett Pink

The Paint Gwinnett Pink 5K Walk/Run has always been about one thing—helping people in our community who are facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

We all know that breast cancer is scary and its impact is far-reaching, but by supporting Paint Gwinnett Pink, you have a chance to help raise awareness and fund the best care possible for cancer warriors in our community.

What is the Paint Gwinnett Pink 5K Walk/Run?

Northside Hospital Gwinnett hosts the Paint Gwinnett Pink 5K Walk/Run at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville every October. The event is the largest breast cancer 5K in Gwinnett County. It is a celebration of survivorship, while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer programs at Northside Hospital Gwinnett.

Don't miss this opportunity to make a positive difference in the fight against breast cancer!

The proceeds from Paint Gwinnett Pink 2024 provides improved access to cutting-edge technology for earlier diagnosis and patient assistance.

Year One

In 2016, in partnership with Paint Georgia Pink Inc., participants, sponsors, and committee members, we held the inaugural event—exceeding participant and fundraising goals! This success is attributed to the fact that funds from this event remain in our own community to assist individuals in need, who are facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

Our Story

Jennifer G.jpg Bobbie M.jpg

Paint Gwinnett Pink was born out of the hearts of two passionate women—Bobbie Menneg, a survivor and women’s support group facilitator, and Jennifer Griffin, Event Director.  Both women work closely with cancer patients, and began to realize patients were not only battling breast cancer, but also many other worries associated with a cancer diagnosis. The two ladies agreed the Gwinnett community could help make a difference, and the Paint Gwinnett Pink 5K Walk/Run was born!
