I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2019. I have no family history. I do not have the breast cancer gene. Needless to say, I was shocked. Luckily, my case was caught very early and was treatable with surgery and radiation. I am now 5 years and 8 months cancer free. December 31, 2024 was my 5 year anniversary of being cancer free. 

I want to thank all my family and friends who have supported me throughout my journey. I could not have done it without them. I want to raise money for Paint Gwinnett Pink in order to benefit local survivors and the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute.

Also, I give thanks to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Trusting in Him and leaning on Him during the hard times has helped get me through such a difficult time. He is my strength when I am weak. He is steadfast and will never abandon me. I am truly blessed that I have been given a second chance at life.
